We as users are not expected to root through page histories to see who said what. Whether you use anything from just your name and a hyphen, in no formatting, next to your two cents, to creating your own signature template, always make sure to sign your posts on talk pages in a way that people can automatically recognize that you were the one who said something.

TIP: Most users accomplish this by typing four tildes (~~~~) next to their edit.
